Education & Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
West Chester University, PA
My Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics gives me a strong foundation in nutritional science, physiology, biochemistry, and the relationship between food and health.
While supplements and testing can be valuable tools, lasting healing is built on proper nourishment. This education allows me to create practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies that support long-term health rather than relying on quick fixes.
Registered Nurse (RN, BSN)
Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA
As a Registered Nurse, I've spent years caring for patients in a hospital setting and seeing firsthand how chronic health conditions impact people's daily lives.
My nursing background allows me to understand conventional medicine, interpret lab work, recognize red flags, and collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers. It also has taught me that many people continue to struggle with symptoms even after receiving a diagnosis or being told their labs are "normal."
Integrative Health Practitioner, Level 2 (IHP)
My training as an Integrative Health Practitioner expanded my ability to investigate the "why" behind symptoms, look beyond symptom management, and identify potential underlying contributors to a person's health concerns.
Drawing from a wide range of healing philosophies and modalities—including functional medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, orthomolecular medicine, lifestyle medicine, and nutritional therapy—this education emphasized root-cause principles and the interconnected nature of the body's systems.
Integrative Health Practitioner Institute
I have advanced training in the interpretation of functional lab tests, including GI-MAP stool testing, DUTCH hormone testing, Organic Acids Testing (OAT), Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), and SIBO breath testing.
These tools help uncover patterns and imbalances that may not always be identified through standard testing alone. Rather than guessing, functional lab testing allows me to create more personalized recommendations based on your unique physiology and health history.
Functional Lab Testing
I have additional training in homeopathy, a holistic system of medicine that views symptoms as meaningful signals rather than problems to suppress.
Homeopathy emphasizes the body's innate ability to heal and the importance of treating the individual as a whole rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or symptom. While it is just one of many tools in my toolbox, my training in homeopathy has further strengthened my ability to view each client through a whole-person lens and appreciate the unique ways the body communicates imbalance.
