Hi, I’m Shannon
My virtual practice is based out of Colorado Springs, CO, where I appreciate the outdoors, movement, and the simple moments that make life feel full.
But for much of my life, my body didn’t feel simple.
I grew up struggling with chronic constipation, bloating, acne, and other “weird” skin concerns. As I got older, PMS, debilitating menstrual cycles, brain fog, joint stiffness, and persistent eczema flares became part of the picture. On paper, everything was often “normal.” But deep down, I knew something was off.
While working as a Registered Nurse, I began noticing similar patterns in my patients. Symptoms that were treated in isolation, labs within range, yet people still feeling unwell. There was very little conversation about how digestion, hormones, stress, and inflammation all interact.
I became deeply curious.
That curiosity led me to pursue advanced training in functional nutrition and integrative health, where I learned to assess the body as a connected system rather than a collection of symptoms. My work is grounded, evidence-informed, and deeply individualized.
Today, I integrate my clinical nursing background, formal training in dietetics, and advanced functional lab testing with root-cause investigation and practical lifestyle strategy. The result is a structured yet sustainable approach focused on strengthening the foundations of digestion, blood sugar balance, stress resilience, and hormone health.
I don’t believe symptoms are random. They’re communication.
And when you learn how to interpret them, healing becomes clearer, calmer, and far less overwhelming.
